Main Goal: The core lesson of this C1 EAP course is the mastery of critical academic synthesis. It moves students beyond simple comprehension to the ability to evaluate and critique complex sources. A major focus is on integrating external evidence using sophisticated citation and referencing practices. Students learn to express a clear, hedged academic stance in both written and spoken discourse. The ultimate goal is to foster an independent, mature academic voice suitable for advanced study. Main Goal: This 12-week course builds foundational academic English skills for B1 learners. It integrates reading, writing, listening, and speaking around key themes. Students will learn to present facts, define concepts, describe ideas, compare data, and express opinions. The course focuses on producing accurate sentences, using academic vocabulary, and applying these skills in tasks like paragraphs and presentations.
