Research and Publication Coordinator

The coordinator is responsible for coordinating research activities and managing research administration, faculty research development, publication support, grant and funding initiatives, research partnerships, and institutional research performance monitoring.

The Research and Publication Coordinator oversees the planning, coordination, and administration of research projects and publication activities. This position works closely with researchers, faculty members, editors, and external partners to ensure that research findings are accurately documented, published, and disseminated in a timely manner. The coordinator also maintains research records, supports grant-related reporting, and ensures adherence to ethical and academic standards.

What you'll do

  • Develop and implement the university's research and innovation strategy.
  • Coordinate research projects, monitor performance, and maintain research records and databases.
  • Ensure compliance with research policies and ethical standards.
  • Support faculty in publishing high-quality research in reputable journals and conferences.
  • Monitor publication performance, citations, and research visibility.
  • Identify funding opportunities and support grant proposal development.
  • Organize research training, giving lectures (1-2 classes per term), workshops, and mentoring programs.
  • Facilitate industry collaboration, innovation projects, and technology transfer activities.
  • Prepare research reports, track KPIs, and support accreditation and quality assurance processes.

What we're looking for

  • Master's degree in Research Management, Higher Education Administration, Business Administration, Education,
  • Engineering, Technology, Innovation Management, or a related field.
  • A PhD is highly preferred for managerial-level appointments.
  • Minimum 5–8 years of progressive experience in research management, publication management, academic affairs, or university administration.
  • Demonstrated experience in research development, grant management, publication support, or institutional research initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of research methodologies and scholarly publication processes.
  • Knowledge of academic publishing standards and international indexing systems.
  • Familiarity with research quality frameworks and higher education standards.
