The Full-Time Faculty Member in Interior Design is responsible for teaching, curriculum development, student advising, and contributing to the academic advancement of the Interior Design program.
This role delivers quality instruction in digital marketing and related subjects, prepares learning materials, assesses student performance, and supports curriculum improvement. The faculty member also participates in academic activities, professional development, and industry engagement.
What you'll do
- Deliver 21 contact hours of instruction per week across assigned courses in subject majors.
- Deliver lectures, studio courses, and practical sessions in Interior Design.
- Develop instructional materials and assessment tools.
- Guide students in design projects, portfolios, and presentations.
- Evaluate student work and provide constructive feedback.
- Participate in curriculum development and accreditation activities.
- Maintain industry relevance through professional practice and networking.
- Support student competitions, exhibitions, and industry collaborations.
- Contribute to research and institutional service activities.
What we're looking for
- Master's degree (or higher) in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related discipline.
- Professional experience in interior design practice is preferred.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
