Full-Time Faculty Member in Computer Science
The Full-Time Faculty in Computer Science teaches computer science courses, supports student learning, and contributes to academic program development and research activities.
This role is responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in computer science, preparing course materials, assessing student performance, advising students, and supporting curriculum improvement. The faculty member will also participate in departmental activities, academic projects, and professional development.
What you'll do
- Deliver 21 contact hours of instruction per week across assigned courses in subject majors.
- Teach undergraduate computer science courses.
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, assignments, and exams.
- Assess and provide feedback on student performance.
- Advise and support students academically.
- Contribute to curriculum development and program improvement.
- Participate in meetings, workshops, and academic events.
- Support research, innovation, and community engagement activities.
What we're looking for
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Teaching experience at university or college level is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of programming, database systems, networking, web development, or software engineering.
- Good communication, presentation, and classroom management skills.
- Ability to prepare lesson plans, assessments, and learning materials.
- Commitment to student development, academic quality, and professional growth.
